Guinness brings its magic to Canada with the launch of Guinness 0 Non-Alcoholic Draught

Guinness has launched Guinness 0 Non-Alcoholic Draught in Canada, bringing the same smooth flavor and dark hue without the alcohol. To celebrate, Guinness is collaborating with mentalist Kevin Hamdan for an event in Toronto today. Guinness 0 will also be available through a vending machine touring cities across Canada this fall.

Guinness 0 Non-Alcoholic Draught, the renowned stout’s non-alcoholic offering, has officially launched in Canada. It boasts the same impeccably smooth flavor, perfectly balanced taste, and unmistakable dark hue that Guinness is known for.

In celebration of this significant milestone, Guinness is extending an invitation to Canadians to experience Guinness 0 Non-Alcoholic Draught through a rather unexpected channel—an innovative vending machine. This inventive approach aims to bring the Guinness experience to people all across Canada. To mark this groundbreaking launch, Guinness 0 is collaborating with the mentalist Kevin Hamdan for a magical event in downtown Toronto. This event will serve as an opportunity to unite people in celebrating Guinness’s rich 200-year history.

Guinness’s unwavering commitment to the future of brewing excellence traces back to 1759. The journey to introduce Guinness 0 reflects this dedication to preserving its unique character and flavor. This achievement was the result of a meticulous four-year process led by the technical and innovation teams at St. James’s Gate, the iconic Home of Guinness.

In the creation of Guinness 0, brewers employ the same natural ingredients that have always been used: water, barley, hops, and yeast. They then employ a gentle cold filtration method to remove the alcohol, ensuring that the beer retains its original taste and characteristics without exposing it to thermal stress. The brewers carefully blend and harmonize the flavors to maintain the distinctive Guinness taste, resulting in the same beloved draught beer experience.

Nadia Niccoli, Head of Marketing, Canada, Guinness, expressed her excitement about the introduction of Guinness 0 to the Canadian market. She highlighted how Guinness 0 is a testament to the brand’s commitment to innovation, experimentation, and daring in brewing. With only 70 calories per 440ml can, it offers Canadians an option to savor the taste of Guinness even when choosing not to consume alcohol.

To commemorate the launch of Guinness, Canadians are invited to the Guinness 0 Magic-Hour event at Yonge-Dundas Square from 6 – 7 p.m. ET today. This interactive performance by the esteemed mentalist, Kevin Hamdan, will include giveaways and introduce the new Guinness 0 vending machine. This vending machine will make appearances in various cities and locations across Canada this fall:

  • Union Station (Toronto, ON): September 21-22
  • Eaton Centre (Montreal, QC): September 28 – October 1
  • Chinook Centre (Calgary, AB): October 5-8
  • Waterfront Station (Vancouver, BC): October 12-15

Canadians are encouraged to follow @GuinnessCa and use the hashtag #Guinness0 to stay updated. Guinness 0 is now available nationwide wherever non-alcoholic beer options are sold.
