Automobili Pininfarina is set to make a significant debut at the exclusive ‘The Bridge’ event on September 23, hosted at the Bridgehampton Golf Course in Hamptons, New York. During this exclusive event, they will unveil two limited edition hypercars, the B95 and the Battista Edizione Nino Farina.
- B95: This hypercar is a groundbreaking achievement as the world’s first all-electric hyper Barchetta (open-top sports car). It is being released to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the iconic design firm Pininfarina SpA, with plans for delivery to customers in 2025. The B95 is a symbol of the exceptional blend of design and technical expertise in electrified powertrains.
- Battista Edizione Nino Farina: This hyper GT is a tribute to Nino Farina, the inaugural Formula 1 World Champion and the nephew of Battista ‘Pinin’ Farina, the founder of Pininfarina. It is derived from the Battista hyper GT and pays homage to Nino’s remarkable racing career and fearless spirit. Only five of these exceptional vehicles will be produced, featuring exclusive exterior and interior finishes and intricate detailing related to Nino Farina’s life and achievements.
Both of these exclusive Italian hypercars embody Automobili Pininfarina’s PURA design philosophy, emphasizing elegant silhouettes and striking proportions. The B95 shares a state-of-the-art powertrain with the Battista hyper GT, with unique tuning for this bespoke vehicle. It boasts remarkable performance, accelerating from 0-60 mph in less than 2 seconds, with a top speed of over 300 km/h. Each of the ten B95 examples offers limitless personalization options.
The Battista Edizione Nino Farina, on the other hand, features a distinctive exterior design with a bespoke Rosso Nino paint scheme and unique livery. Inside, it showcases exclusive detailing and personalized door plates celebrating Nino Farina’s life and racing achievements.
Automobili Pininfarina’s CEO, Paolo Dellachà, expressed excitement about introducing these new creations on the East Coast of the United States, emphasizing the company’s dedication to crafting luxury electric vehicles.
The Battista, which is not a part of this specific unveiling but remains a remarkable model, offers impressive performance with 1,900 horsepower, 2,340 Nm of torque, and a range of up to 476 km on a single charge. Only a limited number of Battista vehicles will be handcrafted at the Pininfarina SpA atelier in Cambiano, Italy.
