Air Transat increases summer services between Gatwick and Montreal, Toronto

These increased summer services will be available until the end of October when Air Transat’s winter schedule comes into operation.

tarting from June 24 and running until September 17, Air Transat will be operating its seasonal weekly direct flight to Quebec City, which is the only direct air link between the UK and the Canadian city. In addition, the airline will be operating daily flights to Montreal and double-daily flights to Toronto, providing more options and flexibility for travelers.

Air Transat’s increased summer services come in response to growing passenger demand and are expected to benefit not just leisure travelers but also business travelers, as Air Transat provides onward connections throughout Canada and to destinations in the US such as Florida and California.

Commenting on the news, Sonia Kurek, UK & Ireland commercial director for Air Transat, said: “We are delighted to see passenger levels continuing to grow, even after 35 years of operating transatlantic flights to Canada. Air Transat is well placed to satisfy the demand for travelers from the South East with increased frequencies for 2023.”
